Goal: Our goal is to create a synchronous Distance Learning option for our students on inclement weather days. Students have a customized schedule in a teacher directed environment. In the synchronous format, teachers have specific times that they meet with each of their core classes. Expectations from WAMS Admin:
All Core Academic Classes will be Synchronous (live)
Attendance will be taken during their first core academic period based on their attendance in class and completing their “attendance assignment” during this class
Students are expected to join all four of their live core academic classes
Each Google Meet link to join each live class is located in each student's Schoology folder for the corresponding class
There is no WIN or Braves Block class on FID days
Staff can utilize Google Meet for class meetings
All 1 to 1 sessions will be recorded
Unless otherwise noted staff will have access to the building during FID days - please let me know if you will be utilizing the school building on these days
Attendance should be emailed to Mary Fleagle once attendance is taken 1st period (8:30).
Attendance will be taken first period. If the student is not present they should be marked absent.
FID days are considered school days; work/grading policies are all in place as if it were a regular school day
Paraprofessionals will follow their schedule through the classes below as they would during the school day to offer support in inclusion sections
