Welcome to Sixth Grade!

Sixth grade is a BIG year, and I look forward to a year of learning, reflecting, and growing! I am entering my 24th year of teaching; this being my third year as a Lincoln Lion. Before coming to Lincoln, I taught seventh grade at the middle schools, and before that, I taught sixth grade in Missouri. I have found my place at Lincoln and plan on many more years here.

My husband Billy and I moved to Winona Lake 11 years ago. There is no place we would rather be! In 2019 we purchased The Olive Branch in The Village at Winona, and it has been an adventure ever since. I sometimes work after school or on weekends, but Billy is the one who runs the show.

I believe all people matter. Our classroom will be one of mutual respect, cooperation, encouragement, inclusion, and fun. There will be lots of learning too, of course. We are a family of learners, and together, we will make it the best year yet!
