Hello! My name is Candy Wainscott. This is my 14th year at Harrison Elementary! All 14 years have been in first grade! I love teaching first grade because the students learn and grow by leaps and bounds during this year of their life. I really enjoy being a part of that growth. My husband and I live in Warsaw. Our two children were both Harrison Huskies when I began teaching at Harrison 14 years ago! Now my son is finishing his senior year at IUPUI and my daughter will be a sophomore at Ball State(which is where I went to school!). I love dogs, especially beagles! We just got a beagle puppy in September. Her name is Ruby and she has lots of energy! I love being with my family, going to the beach, baking and being outside and observing nature.
