It is my pleasure to welcome you and your child to Harrison’s first grade!  I am very happy to be your child’s teacher and eager to begin the school year.  I feel fortunate to be a part of the Harrison team.  This will be my eleventh year at Harrison but my seventeenth year as a classroom teacher.  

I have lived in this community most of my life.  I graduated from Warsaw High School and Franklin College with a degree in elementary education and Spanish endorsement grades K-8. I recently received my master's degree from Ball State University in educational psychology with a specialization in high ability students and am an IDOE authorized reading specialist trained in dyslexia. 

I am married to Brad Hagg, the Director of Educational Technology for the IDOE.  We are the proud parents of McKale (senior at WCHS) and Miriam (senior at Indiana Wesleyan University). In my spare time, I enjoy playing golf and all water sports.
