To advance financial literacy at Winnacunnet and in the State of New Hampshire through an educational tournament that empowers high school students to apply classroom-based financial education in a contest of knowledge and skills. Topics include Spending and Saving, Credit and Debt, Employment and Income, Investing, Risk Management and Insurance, and Financial Decision Making.
The first step is taking a pre-test. All Winnacunnet students are invited to take the proctored, online test during specific Warrior Blocks or after school with Mrs. Harris. Read the announcements for more info.
Once the pre-test grades are in, and Winnacunnet has qualified, recruitment starts with the highest scoring students. Once the team of 6 is assembled, there will be some practice sessions. All team members are expected to go to the state championship for the entire day, missing school and possibly after school activities for that day.
