Purpose
The purpose of this website, Warren Township's Occupational Therapy, is to effectively connect occupational therapy practitioners, speech language pathologists, case managers, teachers, parents, CST members, and other professionals within the district to information related to occupational therapy services.
The purpose of this website, Warren Township's Occupational Therapy, is to effectively connect occupational therapy practitioners, speech language pathologists, case managers, teachers, parents, CST members, and other professionals within the district to information related to occupational therapy services.
This project serves as a platform to share evidence-based practice in occupational therapy in a way that is readily accessible. Through Critically Appraised Papers (CAPs), current research relevant to school-based practice can be more easily shared and understood. CAPs summarize, synthesize, and analyze research articles. This is a beneficial means of keeping up to date with the current evidence without spending hours reading academic journals from cover to cover.
The navigation bar includes hot topics in school-based OT, and the research tabs include access to current research in addition to corresponding CAPs that can be read in addition to or in lieu of the research articles.
