The Warrensburg High School Library provides a safe and dynamic learning environment where our community can learn, focus, and connect. Through exploration, curiosity, and collaboration, we strive to promote digital and information literacy to all students, faculty, and staff. We offer equitable access to educational resources and fiercely protect the intellectual freedom of our learners.
Goals
Teach and support multiple forms of literacy—including information, digital, and media literacy—among students and faculty.
Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion through inclusive policies, equitable access, and intentional collection development.
Provide access to diverse educational resources and materials that engage and inspire readers at all levels.
Create a building-wide culture of reading.
Maintain a current, engaging, and relevant collection that meets the evolving needs of patrons.
Extend the library’s impact beyond the building through a strong online presence and community outreach.
Advocate for the value of a strong library program.
