Principal's Message

Dear Raider Families,

As we move into March, we are entering an important and exciting stretch of the school year. The third quarter is well underway, spring activities are beginning, and graduation is just around the corner for our seniors.

March is a time for focus and momentum. It is often easy to get distracted with warm weather and sunny days but I encourage all students to stay engaged in their classes, seek help when needed, and remain committed to their academic and personal goals. Consistent attendance, strong effort, and positive choices now will set the tone for a successful finish to the year.

This month will see spring sports begin, our school musical will take place, and many of our students will be competing in regional competitions. We are always so proud to showcase our students and how talented they are.

To our families—thank you for your ongoing support. During our last Parent PLC Day, we had over 300 student conferences in our building. It was great to see so many parents in our hallways and we enjoyed discussing your child's growth with you. Please know, we are here anytime you need us.

Before long, our school year will be 3/4's over. Let's continue to work hard, grow together and get ready for spring testing to help us see how far we have come.

The Safety Tipline, Online Prevention or S.T.O.P Tipline is designed for use as an "online" reporting/prevention tool. If students, parents, or community members know of an unsafe situation in school (bullying, weapons, drugs or alcohol, etc.), they can anonymously pass on that information to school personnel by using this basic email format.

PARENTS!!!! You have the opportunity to help Warren East High School receive more state funding and it won’t cost you anything.

If you have not.....please take a few minutes to complete the HIF (Household Income Form). No one from the school sees the information that you provide. However, we can receive funds as we are credited for your participation.

It is especially important to complete the HIF if you have received direct government benefits in the past, even if you are not currently receiving them.

United Way of Southern Kentucky’s (UWSK) 2-1-1 program is a great resource for those who need a little extra help. No matter the needs such as housing/shelter, food, utilities assistance, support groups, employee assistance and more, UWSK’s 2-1-1 team is available to help connect area residents with available community resources. Upon receiving calls from community members, the 2-1-1 team accesses various databases of resources and connects the callers to the appropriate agencies to receive assistance. To access the line, simply dial 2-1-1.
