Meet Mrs. Bell

Hi! I am so excited to have you in my class this year! I want to tell you a little about myself. I grew up in Franklin, Kentucky and graduated from Franklin-Simpson High School. I went to college at Western Kentucky University where I received a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. I am currently enrolled at the University of the Cumberlands and will receive an ESL endorsement later this year. I grew up knowing that I wanted to be a teacher. It is truly my passion. This will be my fifth year teaching third grade at Natcher Elementary School! I love being a Jaguar! Before coming to Natcher, I spent 16 years at Lincoln Elementary School in Franklin where I taught both 4th and 5th grades. I have taught all subjects, but math is the only one that I have taught every single year. Math also happens to be my favorite! This summer I became a Level 1 Google Certified Educator.

I would also like to introduce you to my family. I live in Bowling Green with my husband Noble, daughter Kaitlin, and son Christian. Kaitlin attends WKU and is majoring in social work. Christian is a junior at FCA and will be getting his license very soon. I also have a stepson, Brad. Brad and his wife, Amber, live in Tennessee with our precious granddaughter, Brenlyn.

You also need to meet our sweet maltipoo, Reagan. He is named after former President Ronald Reagan. He may be small, but he has a big personality!

When I'm not at school my favorite thing to do is spend time with my family! I also enjoy reading, solving puzzles, coloring pictures, and learning how to do new things with technology. I love to try new things and eat at new restaurants. This summer I went kayaking for the first time ever!

I am excited to get to know all about you! I know it is going to be a great school year.
