I have been married to my husband, Allen, for 27 years. Together, we began the volleyball program at Greenwood in 2000. We have two daughters, Samantha and Lila. We have one niece and five nephews who I love dearly. My brother runs the family farm I was raised on, and my sister retired from a successful career in the U.S. Air Force.

I earned both my bachelor's(1998) and master's degrees (2004) in Business & Marketing Education from Western Kentucky University. I went on to earn my National Board Certification in Business & Marketing in 2010.
I am beginning my fifth year in this position. Before this, I taught business at Greenwood for 20 years. Most recently, I was the Career & Technical Education department head working closely with Agriculture, Business, and Family Consumer Science teachers. During this time, I have worked with some amazing leaders, teachers, and students.
