If your Talking Points app is not working, it may be because you do not have an Infinite Campus Parent Portal account. Talking Points is linked directly to the Parent Portal, so without one, the system cannot connect.
To set up your Parent Portal, we must be able to provide you with a username and password, therefore please contact our office during office hours and we will help get you set up. Thank you!
Please take a few minutes to view the slideshow presentation about our school and Title I program. After viewing, we kindly ask that you complete this very short survey—your feedback is greatly appreciated!

💙 Bluebird Families, We Need Your Help! 💙
Please take a few minutes to complete the 2026–2027 Household Income Form for your family when it becomes available in August.
This form is required every year and is extremely important to Alvaton Elementary. The information collected helps determine funding for many of the programs and services that directly benefit our students, including:
🍎 Free & Reduced-Price Meal Programs
💙 Family Resource Youth Services Center (FRYSC)
📚 Title I Services
🎓 Academic programs and additional student resources
⭐ And many other valuable supports for our school
Regardless of your household income, we ask that every family complete the form.
Please know that all information is completely confidential. Your responses are not shared with teachers or school staff and are used only to determine school and district funding eligibility.
Thank you for taking the time to complete this important form and for helping us provide the very best opportunities for our Bluebirds!
If you have any questions, please contact Jill McClard, Family Resource Youth Services Center Coordinator, at 270-904-8755 or jill.mcclard@warren.kyschools.us.
💙 Thank you for your partnership and continued support of Alvaton Elementary!
If your child loses or misplaces an item during the school year, please encourage them to visit the lost and found area. The lost and found area will be cleaned out at the end of each month; therefore, it is important that students keep up with their items and check the lost and found area regularly. Parents and guardians are welcome to check in at the front office and check the lost and found area, if needed.
Students who come through the car rider line may be dropped off between 8:00 and 8:30 AM. Class begins promptly at 8:30 AM. Your child will be counted tardy if they come in after 8:30am.
Each day we hear wonderful reports of how our faculty and staff are going above and beyond, and these reports are something we would love to collect into one location and share! If there is a faculty or staff member of Alvaton Elementary who has gone above and beyond for your student/family, please take a moment to give them a shout-out by clicking here. We know hearing your authentic and kind words of appreciation will make their day even brighter! Thank you for all that you do!

United Way of Southern Kentucky’s (UWSK) 2-1-1 program is a great resource for those who need a little extra help. No matter the needs such as housing/shelter, food, utilities assistance, support groups, employee assistance and more, UWSK’s 2-1-1 team is available to help connect area residents with available community resources. Upon receiving calls from community members, the 2-1-1 team accesses various databases of resources and connects the callers to the appropriate agencies to receive assistance. To access the line, simply dial 2-1-1.
Alvaton Elementary fully implements tier 1, tier 2, and tier 3 for PBIS. Please click here to learn more about how PBIS positively impacts the learning environment at our school!

Staying healthy is an important part of education. If your child doesn’t have health insurance, you may qualify for KCHIP, Kentucky Children’s Health Insurance Program. It provides comprehensive coverage at no cost. There are many students across the district who qualify but are not signed up. To find out more, go to kidshealth.ky.gov or call (877) 524-4718 – because every child needs health insurance.
