We are truly appreciative of your support for the 2016 Blended Learning Forum. Without your support this event would not have been possible. In 2016, our Summer of eLearning event was attended by close to 300 educators from around Indiana.

As you may remember, our district has undertaken a multi-year effort to transition our instructional approach to a blended model for the purpose of personalizing instruction.

We are inviting our business partners to join us in sponsoring this year’s event in Warren on July 20th, 2017. The Blended Learning Forum - 2017 will be a one-day event focused on digging deeper into the ecosystem of blended learning. Attendees will enjoy a keynote address, which we are pleased to announce will be Michael B. Horn, Co-founder of the Christensen Institute and coauthor of Blended: Using Disruptive Innovation to Improve Schools. Distinctive to our forum will be an “ecosystem environment” simulation for all attendees to experience first-hand a blended learning model. Our day will continue with concurrent sessions selected through a juried process. Sessions facilitated will focus on our theme, “Create Your Ecosystem”. Specifically, sessions will align with data-driven decision making, integrating digital content and tools, targeted group instruction, and student reflection & ownership.

This year we will offer levels of sponsorship. The Underwriting level involves significant in-kind or financial support for the conference and is negotiated per sponsor. Our other levels include the Core 4 and Disruptive Innovator levels described in the attached document. Whichever level you select, we hope that you and others from your team will be able to join us on the 20th of July.
