SkillsUSA Student Addressing Advisory Members
A public relations plan in place and being implemented
The LPSCS Pathway at Ware County High School attracts community interest through its representation on the school's various social media sites.
Within the school community, the promotion of the LPSCS Pathway is facilitated through student-led presentations, distribution of informative pamphlets, strategic placement of display boards, and the display of posters across campus facilities.
Community service projects
Industry is involved in the program beyond the advisory committee.
Previously, industry engagement at Ware County High School entailed occasional involvement in hands-on skill activities and classroom presentations. Typically, industry partners would visit as required to deliver the lesson and depart thereafter. Moving forward, it is imperative to cultivate a deeper relationship between industry partners and students. Such bonds can greatly contribute to the recruitment of prospective employees in the future.
Efforts are underway to enhance the value of credentials offered within the LPSCS Pathway at Ware County High School. One initiative under consideration involves implementing a Basic Jailers Certification program, which would provide students with additional valuable credentials.
