Break & Lunch: Fields OPEN

🎫 FastPasses & Dining Hall

• FastPasses continue to be used as a reward for Role Models.  Role Models may enter through the main dining hall double doors and queue in the inner lanes. Remember — uniform matters. Role Models without exemplary uniform will lose their FastPass.

• Always have your ID card ready to keep the queue moving quickly.

• No bags in the dining hall at break or lunch, and please stay seated while eating.

🏫 Indoor Spaces

• As the weather becomes warmer, students will be encouraged to move outside from the dining hall once queues have dispersed at break. During lunch, students can remian inside for the duration of the lunch period. 

• The mezzanine will operate as a quiet space only. You are welcome to use this space; however, space is limited and it is first come, first served—please keep it calm and respectful.

• The mezzanine is a quiet space only at break & Lunch 2. At Lunch 1, it’s just for Year 11s.

🏀 Outdoor Spaces

• The football pitches are now open and the basketball courts remain open. See the football pitch information below for where you can play. 

• The 3G pitch is open everyday at break only— just make sure you’ve got the correct footwear.

• There is now a reserved space for girls only football in the top area of the 3G pitch. 

⚽ Football Pitch Information 

To help everyone enjoy football safely at break and lunch, please use the correct pitches for your year group:

• Year 9

  • Break: Top field football pitch

  • Lunch: Rugby pitch

• Year 10

  • Break: Rugby pitch

  • Lunch: Main field

• Year 11

  • Break & Lunch: Main fields

At break time, students in Years 9–11 may also use the 3G pitch.

Please make sure you are using the correct area so everyone has space to play.

🚻 Toilets 

• At break and lunch, students may use the West Girls’ toilets and the Ferguson toilets.

• At break time only, students may also use the PE changing room toilets.

Please ensure you are using the correct facilities at the correct times.

🚫 Out of Bounds 

To ensure break and lunch are safe and enjoyable for everyone, please be clear on the following out of bounds areas and expectations:

• The main building is out of bounds, except for students accessing the West Girls’ toilets.

• Do not gather in corridor areas.

• The quad water fountains are out of bounds during break and lunch (use the fountains near the Ferguson instead).

• While you can access the water fountains by the studio, the surrounding area—including outside the PE changing rooms and the studio—is out of bounds.

• The Year 7–8 toilets and surrounding areas are out of bounds for Years 9–11.

• The Year 7–8 dining area must not be accessed under any circumstances.

Please follow staff instructions at all times and respect all spaces. These expectations help ensure break and lunch remain safe, calm, and enjoyable for everyone.

💬 Extra Reminders

• The Snack Shack is open at break and lunch. Remember the canopy area is a seated area, students in this area must remain seated or you will be directed to another part of the Year 9 - 11 area. 

• Follow staff instructions and respect all spaces.

• Keep your hands to yourself – any rough play (pushing, bumping, playfighting, etc.) will result in a red 'rough play' log.

• Students in Years 9–11 must use either the Ferguson or West Girls’ toilets at lunch. At break, you can also access the PE toilets.
