The purpose of the Latino Workshop is to educate Latino parents about their child's academic life. Many of the Latino parents at Whittemore are new to the American School life. The Latino Workshop is aimed to bridge the gap in hopes to build up our students.

Our monthly meeting are instrumental to the growth of our students but also our parents and are directed by a theme. In the past we had a workshop concerning the effects of immigration within the immediate family. We hope these workshops bring about success for both student and parent!
