Mrs. White graduated from Westfield State with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology in 1994. She went on and furthered her education with an Associates degree in Nursing from Quincy College in 2001. While working as a part time school nurse at Walpole High School, Mrs. White simultaneously earned her Massachusetts Department of Education Teaching license and her Masters in Education from Cambridge College. She is now one of the full time nurses at Walpole High School. Mrs. White was instrumental in assisting with the return to school and pandemic management. She was on the frontline of ensuring the health and safety of students and staff alike. Mrs.White was born and raised in Quincy MA before moving to Walpole in 2000 to raise her family. She lives with her husband and four of her five children. Heather's oldest daughter has followed in her footsteps and is a postpartum nurse at Brigham & Women’s hospital. Mrs. White enjoys spending time watching her sons play football, cheering on her daughter at track meets and walking her beloved dog Sampson.

Kim Byda MSN, CPNP-PC
Ms. Byda comes from a long line of nurses in her family. Recognizing the impact her mother and grandmother had as nurses, she knew her career would include acts of service. She chose to attend Northeastern University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in the Science of Nursing in 2004. She enjoyed 13 years as a NICU nurse at the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Mrs Byda is passionate about family health and education and recognizes the impact she can make within her nursing profession. Interested in broadening her nursing expertise, she returned to Northeastern to receive her Master’s Degree in Nursing, specializing in pediatric primary care. In 2017, she became a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She brings her extensive knowledge base and calm disposition to our high school. Ms. Byda lives in Norfolk with her husband, 3 children and their 3 dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family, watching her kids play various sports, skiing and spending time with friends. Ms. Byda understands family/school life dynamics and is eager to extend her compassion and skills within the Walpole community.
