Students in Grade 5 come to Reading Support 3 times a week. Each class is 45 minutes long. The skills listed below are worked on in grade 5 throughout the year. We use a variety of fiction and nonfiction texts to work on these skills. Our goal is for students to become more independent at these skills than they were in 4th grade.

Book Adventure- Book Adventure is a free way to motivate your child to read. Kids K-8 can search for books, read them offline, and take quizzes on what they have read.
