Academic Support During Quarantine
If a student comes into contact with a positive case, they are not required to quarantine unless they become symptomatic or test positive. Testing is recommended between day 3-5 after the last date of exposure. If they end up testing positive, the student must stay home and follow isolation protocols. Antigen Rapid tests and PCR tests are available for students who are contacts of positive cases.
If students test positive or become symptomatic, they are required to stay home. Assigned work shall be congruent to the amount of work they would complete if they were in school. Students will receive a Quarantine Independent Study Contract communicating the assignments, instructional materials, and avenues for support during their quarantine period.
