A bit about me...
This is my seventh year teaching Seventh grade Core at WCI. I know this year will look very different from others, but I am excited to have another great in Seventh grade Core!

I grew up in Walnut Creek, and also attended WCI when I was in middle school. Since a very young age I wanted to be a teacher, and I am grateful to be teaching at such a wonderful school. I attended Biola University in Los Angeles, where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies and achieved my Teaching Credential.

For English, I teach reading and writing in a workshop format, emphasizing strategies that help students feel more confident in their reading and writing. For Social Studies, my hope is that through a guided inquiry process my students can see "big picture" ideas in the civilizations we study.

I love what I do, and I am excited to have your child in my class this year. I know this will be another great year at WCI!
