I am extremely excited to share my ninth year in teaching with my classes! This year we are going to be exploring reader's workshop, writer's workshop, ancient civilizations, and communicating effectively! We will complete many projects together, and I look forward to everything we achieve.

I grew up in Pleasanton and received my BA in Liberal Studies from Sonoma State and MS in Education from Walden University. After starting as a kindergarten teacher, this is my seventh year teaching sixth grade!
I have a wonderful cat named Yoko, and I love reading, dancing, playing video games, playing board games, and watching documentaries in my free time. Feel free to scroll through the pictures below :)
