Wall Township Public Schools
Parents may request a fully remote, virtual schooling option for their child. Virtual School will be a hybrid model of virtual, live instruction and independent, asynchronous instruction/learning. A student participating in the remote learning option will be afforded the same quality and scope of instruction and other educational services as any other student otherwise participating in district programs.
Students will have the option to transition to or from the Virtual School at specific dates as per Board Policy #1648.02. A student is only eligible to transition from full-time remote learning to in-person services commencing at the midpoint or start of a marking period for grades K-5 and at the start of a new marking period for grades 6-12. Every effort will be made to place the student in his or her home school.
Transition dates from Virtual School to in person services are as follows:
K-5: Parents must submit a request to transition to In Person services at least 10 school days (May 11) before the student is eligible for In Person services. Students are eligible to transition to In Person services on May 21, 2021.
6-8: Parents must submit a request to transition to In Person services at least 10 calendar days before the student is eligible for In Person services. Students are eligible to transition to In Person services on the first day of the new marking period.
9-12: 6-8: Parents must submit a request to transition to In Person services at least 10 calendar days before the student is eligible for In Person services. Students are eligible to transition to In Person services on the first day of the new marking period.
Primary School will run on its regular schedule. Students will attend 5 days per week, as scheduled.
AM Session: 8:15 AM - 10:35 AM
PM Session: 12:00 PM - 2:20 PM
All students, five days per week
Special area classes will push in to homerooms
All special education compensatory services and general education counseling services provided
Recess will be held virtually in the afternoon from home.
No lunch period. "Grab and Go" breakfasts and lunches will be offered to all students at dismissal, as per U. S. Department of Agriculture guidelines.

***Effective Monday, April 19, 2021, Wall Intermediate School will eliminate the hybrid schedule. Students will report 5 days per week for in-person instruction (early dismissal schedule) or learn all-virtually.
***Effective Monday, February 8, 2021, Wall Intermediate School will implement synchronous learning for both cohorts (live and virtual).
***Effective Monday, November 9, 2020, Wall Intermediate School will no longer be implementing the "Virtual Wednesday." The cohorts will report to school as follows: Cohort #1: 3 days in-person and Cohort #2: 2 days in-person; following week Cohort #1: 2 days and Cohort #2: 3 days.

Students will follow an early dismissal schedule
No lunch period. Meals will be offered to all students, as per U. S. Department of Agriculture guidelines, and delivered to students' homes via district transportation.
