Hi, I'm Merry(Nayoung Hwang), the groomer and founder of Walk & Knock Dog Grooming. With over 5 years of hands-on experience in Korea’s pet grooming industry, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and needs — always with patience, precision, and heart.

My grooming journey began with my first dog, Moongchi — smart, sensitive, and deeply bonded with me.

He would get anxious at grooming salons, and I worried every time I had to leave him.

That experience made me realise how stressful grooming can be for dogs and their humans — and that’s what led me to become a groomer myself.

I specialise in fear-free grooming, Asian fusion styling, and behaviour-based handling — approaches that respect each dog’s emotional well-being just as much as their appearance.

Beyond grooming, I've also taught workshops, supported dog parents through home care education, and shared my knowledge with fellow professionals. I believe that grooming is not just a service — it’s a relationship.
