My personal commitment to service and leadership of the Walker County School District:
I am committed to the quality education of all Walker County children. I believe that our children are the future of Walker County. The education of our children includes home, school, and community. School Board members have a responsibility to listen and balance the vision of the parents and community with the requirements and desires of educators. School Board members cannot attempt to manage the day-to-day activities of the system. However, by creating policies and procedures, they do have the responsibility of ensuring accountability to the community, parents, and educators.
