If you find yourself needing extra help this year, here are some options:
1. While we cannot be your therapists, we would be happy to connect you to those who can help and just listen. We can help walk you through finding a provider that takes your insurance.
2. If you have a SHBP through BlueCross/Anthem, they offer several well-being incentives that will encourage your self-care routines.
3. Going to a therapist is something we hope will one day be as normal as going to a doctor, but we understand sometimes people would rather be helped more anonymously. If you’d rather not come to us or go through the county, GA Hope provides counseling for adults as well as kids. They have a self-pay option if you have private insurance or would rather it not be run through insurance. Their self-pay rate is very reasonable and one of the most affordable. You can refer yourself at gahope.org. You will not be seen by our in-house GA Hope people. No one in the building will know if you refer yourself.
