"An individual has not started living until he can rise above the narrow confines of his individualistic concerns to the broader concerns of all humanity"
~ Dr, Martin Luther King , Jr.
Purpose
WHS is excited to participate in our very own MLK Week of Service, from Monday, January 27th to Friday, January 31st, 2025. This special week follows Martin Luther King Jr. Day, celebrated on January 20th, and will serve as a powerful reminder of the impact that service and giving back can have on individuals and communities.
We believe that taking part in the MLK Week of Service will not only foster the personal growth of our students but also contribute to the betterment of our wider community.

Volunteering with WALVAC
The Waldwick Ambulance Corps has always been and will always be a 100% volunteer organization. Our members are not paid for their services, they volunteer because they care. Our organization does not charge our patients anything for treatment and transport offered during an emergency. We pride ourselves on being able to provide this service and we truly love what we do.
We volunteer because your life may depend on it and because we care about the residents of Waldwick and our surrounding communities!
