About Wakulla STEAM
In 2021, my family and I began searching for STEM programs for our three boys. What we found were only a few small opportunities—and in many cases, no programs at all. After several unsuccessful attempts to partner with existing organizations, we decided to create something ourselves.
That vision became Wakulla STEAM.
Since launching in April 2025, our goal has been to provide inclusive, hands-on programs that inspire curiosity and teach skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics (STEAM). We believe every child should have access to opportunities that encourage creativity, problem-solving, teamwork, and innovation.
As we continue to grow, we invite the community to join us on this journey. Whether through volunteering, sponsoring, mentoring, or participating in our programs, your support helps us create meaningful learning experiences for the next generation.
Together, we can build Wakulla STEAM into a thriving community resource that empowers learners of all ages and helps shape the future of Wakulla County.
