Welcome!
Hello! I am Ms. Kim Young. I have been teaching for 17 years and have taught a wide range of courses and levels. I received my bachelor's degree from the College of Saint Rose in Social Studies 7-12 Education and my master's degree from the University of Albany in Curriculum Development and Instructional Technology. Recently, I completed classes and acquired my certification to teach 5th and 6th grade Social Studies.
I live nearby in Conesville with my husband. In addition to teaching, I serve as a Town Historian and I am very active in my local historical society and fire department. Gardening and spending time outdoors are some of my favorite activities outside of school.
I love teaching Social Studies and I am looking forward to a great year with you!
My email is kyoung@wajcs.org and you can find me in room 212.
