Share Thanksgiving is Waitr Holdings's annual campaign to feed families in need within our markets. We work with customers, restaurants, and non-profits to provide families with Thanksgiving meals personally delivered by Waitr and Bite Squad employees. During the initiative's first year in 2017, we shared over 1,000 meals. In 2018, we doubled that number to 2,000!
This year is shaping up to be our largest Share Thanksgiving yet. Our goal is to share over 4,000 meals across 50 Waitr and Bite Squad markets. We're also adding a focus on sustainable giving by including resources with each meal to ensure that families have access to further assistance even after the holiday.

How It Works
Over the next month, Waitr and Bite Squad employees and members of the local community will nominate families in need for the program. During this period, when anyone orders from Waitr, the company will make a donation that will go toward covering the cost of the meals. Each meal will be prepared by participating restaurant partners, allowing us to jointly provide eligible families with (literally!) restaurant-quality meals. In the days leading up to Thanksgiving, employee volunteers will come together across markets to deliver the meals to each family and provide assistance with a touch of personal encouragement.
The outpouring of love and generosity witnessed during last year’s Share Thanksgiving inspired us with awe and reverence. With the support of the communities we serve, there’s no telling how much joy we can bring to the table this year!
