Covid19 Alert. We are currently at Traffic Light Setting Red. See COVID page for details.
All tamariki in year 4 and above MUST wear masks in school. This means all the seniors (and their kaiako) will be wearing them. We will work outside as much as we can and use social distancing and regular sanitising to reduce any risk.
No tamariki are required to be vaccinated to attend school.
Each child MUST bring their own drink bottle - drinking fountains are NOT open around the school except to fill bottles (all nicely cool and filtered also!)

Here are some videos to help you figure out how to wear them safely to ensure coverage and to not spread the virus.
For all mask types.
For the disposable masks - a great trick to ensure it still has tight edges.
A one minute video on technique.
We are learning how to wear our masks and keep ourselves and others safe. Watch the videos above. What are the main points in the videos? Share with a friend in class what you think the most important thing is about how to wear a mask.
You are going to make an A3 poster (big!) about hygiene around COVID 19. You can remind people that they need their mask ON, or perhaps how to take them on and off safely, or how they should wash their hands frequently, cough into their elbows - ANYTHING about how to stay safe in COVID.
Your poster must:
Have a BOLD statement/instruction that is simple
Have an illustration
Be in colour
Be clear and big so people can read it
Create this on Google Draw.
Whaene Vicki will print the finished posters. Do not share on your individual blog just yet; but they will go on our class blog. Find a place around the Seniors and other blocks around the school (including the office) to put your poster up.
