Kerry Kakazu, founder of Metro Grow Hawaii, came to Waimalu Elementary to educate our students on urban farming - growing food in a city environment. Students learned how they can start their own "garden" at home by growing nutrient-packed microgreens and healthy sprouts at home for their families.
