Aloha! My name is Ms. Fujioka. I am a proud alumna of Waiakea High School, where I participated in cross country, track, Youths Against Cancer (YAC), Keywanettes, and class council. I’ve been teaching science at Waiakea High School for over 10 years. Before becoming a teacher, I worked on pension and profit sharing plans at an insurance company for 7 years. A month before September 11, I opened an auto collision repair shop with a business partner in Hilo, which grew from 2 employees to 8 employees.

During my spare time, I enjoy sewing quilts, making greeting cards, and playing taiko and tennis.

Trivia: find my name in the trophy case in the gym, on a plaque in the library, and on a poster in the library. Hint: the trophy and plaque will be a challenge as my maiden name is used…...hmmm….
