• Principal
The High School Principal will have ultimate decision making authority on matters related to the ECHS program. The Principal reports directly to the superintendent and acts as a liaison between the ECHS program, Central Office, and the School Board. He will direct staff, approve budgets and purchasing, and resolve any conflicts that arise. The Principal is a member of the ECHS leadership team and will ensure compliance with all program and grant-funding requirements.
Counselor
The High School Counselor will have primary responsibility for recruitment, advising, and retention of students in the ECHS program. The Counselor reports directly to the Principal and coordinates student activities between the ECHS and the comprehensive high school. The Counselor is a member of the ECHS leadership team and will ensure all students receive the supports they need to be successful in the ECHS program.
ECHS Director
The ECHS Director will have primary responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the ECHS program, will be the liaison to the IHE, and will coordinate logistics and technology for the ECHS. The ECHS Director reports directly to the Principal and is responsible for implementing the policies and procedures set out by the Principal and leadership team. The Director is a member of the ECHS leadership team and provides support and guidance to the ECHS instructional staff. The ECHS director is a classroom teacher within the comprehensive school, and performs ECHS duties in a designated period daily as well as extra days over the summer.
