WACYL
TEE-BALL / COACH PITCH / SOFTBALL
WACYL Tee-Ball, Coach Pitch and Softball are co-ed recreational programs, available to children ages 4 through 8th grade, which focus on skill development, team building and a healthy competitive spirit. Our season will run April through June, tentatively. Exact dates will be released once finalized. Practice and Game schedules are based on volunteer availability, therefore will be created after registration is complete.
For all divisions, the following apply:
Positively NO metal spikes are permitted.
Cleats are not mandatory, but if worn they must be rubber or plastic.
No boots, sandals, flip-flops, etc. are permitted.
Players must supply their own glove.
Players are recommended to supply their own bats and helmets, but are not mandatory as WACYL has spares.

WACYL runs four co-ed Divisions grouped by age and skill.
Tee-Ball:
Open to grades Pre-K and Kindergarten
Must turn 4 years of age before April 1st
Clinic-Style Division
Season will focus on instruction and the fundamentals of the game.
Games will be played if possible
Coach Pitch:
Open to grades 1st and 2nd
This division introduces Coach Pitch standards where coaches pitch to the opposing team.
Players will learn how to properly play the game with pitch counts. We will be utilizing a catcher as well in this division.
Softball: (NOT BASEBALL) Intramural and Co-Ed
Intermediate
Open to grades 3rd through 5th
Competitive Play Division
This Division may use a pitching machine
Advanced
Open to grades 6th through 8th
Competitive Play Division
This level may travel to play teams across South Jersey
Coaches Needed
Community volunteers are essential to our programs and will be needed. Please consider if you are willing to volunteer as a Coach or Assistant Coach for any of these divisions. No experience is necessary. WACYL will provide NYSCA Training and Certification. Background Check is required. Please visit our Coaching Requirements tab for more information. Thank you!
If you cannot make every practice/game, please register as a volunteer anyway, as we could always use the extra help.

Communicating In-Season - Mandatory App Download
Once rosters are completed, WACYL uses the Game Changer Team Manager App for communication between coaches and parents during sports seasons. Below is the page that links both IOS or Android. This can also be accessed through Blue Sombrero in the Team Central - Team Directory section. You can sign in using your Sports Connect credentials.
Download the App
Once the App is open select the parent/player option
Click on the + button and import team using Sports Connect.
It should now show your entire team. You can message or email your team through the App. All messages will show in a group thread or you can message individually if needed.

Sponsors Needed
WACYL welcomes local businesses to sponsor our teams each season. One sponsor is needed per team. This presents an awesome opportunity to support our local community, ensure funding to provide these programs to our youth as well as advertise your business through our programs.
