About Ms. Grimes:

The 2025-2026 school year is my 13th year teaching and my eighth at Washington Community High School. After graduating from WCHS (Go Panthers!) in 2009, I received my degree in Mathematics with a minor in Secondary Education from Carthage College in Wisconsin in 2013. I then taught in Wisconsin for five years before I decided that there was no place like home and decided to return to Washington. I believe in being a life-long learner and finished my Master's of Science in Teaching and Learning at Illinois State University in 2022. When I'm not teaching, I love practicing and sharing my love of yoga as a Certified/Registered Yoga Teacher, cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and Wisconsin Badgers, spending time with my husband and our dog Sunshine, and traveling near and far.
