About Mrs. Barth

I am very excited to be starting my first year teaching at WCHS!

Washington has been my home for nearly my entire life.  After graduating from WCHS, I attended Bradley University.  My first year of teaching was spent teaching 7th and 8th grade math at Metamora Grade School.  I then transitioned to Central Intermediate School where I spent the last 21 years teaching 7th grade math.  

In addition to my degree from Bradley, I have also obtained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.

My favorite hobbies include anything that involves my family.  I love to spend my time watching and supporting my husband and kids at all of their sporting events.  My husband, Mr. Barth, also teaches here at WCHS.  He is the Study Lab/Peer Tutor Coordinator.  My son is currently a sophomore at Bradley University where he studies history education and runs track.  While at WCHS, he played football and ran track.  My daughter is currently a senior at WCHS and is in the process of deciding which college she will attend next year.  She plays volleyball and softball for the Panthers and is also a basketball cheerleader.
