About Mrs. Barth

Washington has been my home for nearly my entire life.  After graduating from WCHS, I attended Bradley University.  My first year of teaching was spent teaching 7th and 8th grade math at Metamora Grade School.  I then transitioned to Central Intermediate School where I 21 years teaching 7th grade math.  This is my second year teaching at WCHS.

In addition to my degree from Bradley, I have also obtained a Masters Degree in Educational Leadership from American College of Education.

My favorite hobbies include anything that involves my family.  I love to spend my time watching and supporting my husband and kids at all of their sporting events.  My husband, Mr. Barth, also teaches here at WCHS.  He is the Study Lab/Peer Tutor Coordinator.  My son is currently a junior at Bradley University where he studies history education and runs track.  While at WCHS, he played football and ran track.  My daughter is currently a freshman at Monmouth College where she will be playing volleyball and softball.  She is studying elementary education.
