Teacher of Instagram
In March 2020, schools were sent into a remote world. Immediately communication with students felt as though it was being cut off and a posted assignment via Google Classroom was the only communication happening. A friend shared an idea with me about having a teacher instagram and using this platform to engage professionally with students. What a genius idea! I use my teacher instagram to engage my students in classroom content, daily reminders, shares from other educators, news, etc. This has been a positive way to engage students outside of the classroom.
