I am a senior in the class of 2025.Â
I joined Wabeno's Past because I was interested in learning more about my town and the school community.Â
So far this year, we have done a lot of cool stuff and I hope to see the progress we've made grow.Â
I am a senior in the class of 2025. I joined Wabeno's past during my senior year because I wanted to explore Wabeno's history and learn more about it! This year we have conducted interviews with teachers who have stuck with Wabeno district for a long time. This was a very fun experience getting to ask questions and learn more about the teacher’s. I hope in the future that this class continues to dive and preserve the history of Wabeno, while having fun and enjoyment.
I am a senior in the class of 2025. I joined Wabeno's past halfway through my senior year because I wanted to learn more about Wabeno's history and their past achievements. This school year has been fun as we reserved the trophies by taking pictures of them and making them accessible on the homepage and even got to interview some teachers that have been here for many years. I can't wait to see the progress that the future classes make on reserving Wabeno's past.Â

I'm a junior from Wabeno's 2025 class. With my pal Joseph, we both cataloged and photographed the trophies and memorabilia within the cases around the school. I always found it interesting whenever we'd find recurring names or families on some of them. If meticulous, structured, open-schedule work appeals to you as it does to me, then this is a great class for you. After leaving behind the groundwork we've done for the website here, I hope to see it grow and expand into a complete compendium of Wabeno's history.

I am a junior in the graduating class of 2025. I joined the archiving history class to help preserve Wabeno's past. My friend Jaden and I have been recording and photographing the high school's awards and relics. In all, we have recorded over 200 items, 100 of which we have photographed. What we have done is just the beginning; there is much more history to be recorded. I am interested to see the progress built upon the foundation we have created here.Â

I'm currently a Sophomore at Wabeno High School, and I will graduate in 2026. I joined this class to learn more about my school and the town it occupies. Throughout this semester I have helped anywhere I could but mainly focused on the historic buildings. I liked learning the history of the town and found it fascinating to see old photographs of places that have changed drastically. In the future I hope more people join this class and help to keep the history alive.Â

I'm a junior and will be graduating in 2025. I joined this class to learn more about Wabeno and the school's history. Throughout this class I mainly upload pictures and other stuff on to the website. I found a lot of the history really interesting. My future vision of this website is to see other future students working on it and updating it.

I'm a junior at Wabeno High school. I will be graduating in the year of 2025. I joined this class to learn more about the history of the school and the people who went here in the past. I mainly scan yearbooks and move them into PDFs. I do this so it can be uploaded to the website. I also did inventory with the yearbooks we had in the school library. I loved looking at all the yearbooks. I seen so many clothing styles and the different activity during the decades.Â

While trying to find a place for the next graduating class composite in the hallway, I came to the realization we are running out of space. After mentioning this to our secretary, she showed me the multiple shelves of items that don't fit into our trophy cases, so, I came up with a plan to be able to share our past history with everyone. Our current students love roaming the halls, looking at past graduating classes. Every year during graduation, I spot alumni wandering the same halls, reminiscing about the past. The goal of this class, is to be able to bring that history to any Wabeno student, wherever they may be now. So, why stop with class composites? Trophy case items, plaques, trophies, interviews, the possibilities are endless. This is just the beginning. I hope to offer this class every semester for students to join and leave their mark in Wabeno's History.Â
