• Hug your parents (you will miss them!)

• Make sure your Overseas Student Health Cover starts from the day you arrive in Perth

• Make sure you have your passport renewed

• Have your Visa and CoE ready in your bag 

• Find accommodations before you arrive in Perth (so that you are not stressed out!)

• Get a Transperth card (for public transport) - Remember to link it with your student ID to get concession rates

• Set up a bank account

• Get a mobile phone plan

• Join the Malaysian Student Societies in your university so that you can meet more fellow Malaysians

• Become a volunteer at MASCA events 

• Start exploring Western Australia
