What is our plan to return to school?
OUR GOAL: To create a plan for students and faculty to return to onsite instruction that is sustainable and mitigates risk factors for all involved.
Here are the highlights:
At this time, we will continue our current practice and face coverings will continue to be optional/recommended at West Harrison. We will continue to support each student or staff member's choice to wear, or not to wear, face coverings inside the building.
We have THREE possible plans ready to be used, when and if needed:
Onsite Learning: All students are on campus. Continuous Learning for those temporarily at home due to illness or quarantine.
Hybrid Learning: Partly at school, partly online
Virtual Learning: All students attend from home, via online learning
We prefer the onsite learning option by far and so will do all we can to keep it the only option for as long as possible!
Like everything else, as our plan is put into action or as we progress through the rest of the year, things may change. Please be aware of this possibility and prepare to continue to support your students as they reenter learning at West Harrison.
