Meet the teacher

Hi! My Name is Mrs. Amy Purcell! I live in Manlius with my husband Ed, our two children Alex and Alyssa and our dog Reese. I enjoy shopping & being with friends and family. I will be your child’s 3rd -4^th grade math teacher! I grew up in Oneida, New York where I attended Seneca St. Elementary School for Kindergarten through 6^th grade. I then attended Otto Shortell Middle School before graduating Oneida High School. I attended Nazareth College of Rochester and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Mathematics with a specialization to teach Elementary Education. I then attended and graduated from SUNY Cortland with a Master’s Degree in Reading. This will be my 22nd year teaching at Wettel Elementary School & I am excited to make this my best year yet!
