Mr. Bonville's Classroom

About the Teacher!

My name is Mr. Bonville. I am a graduate from The College of Saint Rose with a Bachelors of Science in Childhood Education and Special Education with a concentration in Social Studies. Also, I have received my Masters in Literacy through SUNY Cortland. I am excited to start my ninth year in the classroom and begin teaching the third grade! I love spending time in the classroom and seeing the students around me grow from the new exciting information that is presented to them!

Outside of school, I love spending time traveling to different sporting events, whether it is the Red Sox playing at Fenway Park or watching the Buffalo Sabres win a game at home. I also enjoy spending time in the outdoors from hiking in the Adirondacks to working in the field with my dog Wesson.

Science in the Classroom!

Throughout the year, we will spend time learning about Forces and Motion, Simple Machines, Weather and Ecosystems.

Guided Reading

During our Guided Reading time, students will spend time reading with their peers and myself whether it is through our Journeys curriculum or some fantastic trade books.

Social Studies in the Classroom!

This year, most of our time will be spent talking about Geography, Communities and Cultures around the world.

Freckle

This is the math program that we use throughout the district to help students develop their skills.

Epic!

We use Epic! in our classroom to give students exposure to different books they may not have access to in our classroom library.
