A little about me....

I have been teaching at Independence for over 20 years. I started out as a 1-on-1 aide, then moved on to teach 2nd grade and 3rd grade for a while until I eventually became the Library Media Specialist. I absolutely love teaching and am so grateful to be part of this school community.

I went to elementary school in Chicago and when my family moved to Bolingbrook, I attended Romeoville High School. I earned an Associates Degree from Joliet Junior College, a Bachelor of Science Degree from Northern Illinois University, and a Masters Degree from the University of St. Francis. I am always looking for opportunities to learn and grow as a teacher.
