Wednesday, October 22nd is Course Selection Day!
Students will be able to select classes that they would like to take for the 2026-27 school year on Wednesday during Future Ready!

The BHS School Counseling Department is hosting a FAFSA Completion Workshop on Thursday, October 16th from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. in the BHS Cafeteria.
Representatives from the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) and BHS School Counselors will be available to assist senior students and their families with the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Form. We will also have Spanish speaking representatives in attendance.
Prior to attending this event, students and parents/guardians must each have a verified FSA ID to complete the FAFSA.
To obtain an FSA ID, both student and parent/guardian need to create their own account (Click here to create an account) .
Please allow at least one week to obtain your FSA ID as it will take time for the verification process.
In addition to having your FSA ID, please click here to learn all of the necessary documents/items that you will need to to bring to the event so we can best assist you.
