The Mt. Whitney High School Local Scholarship
Deadline: December 20, 2024
What is a scholarship?
Scholarships are financial aid awards designed to help students pay for college
Sometimes a scholarship is a one-time check. Other college scholarships are renewable and provide money for students each semester or school year. (CAPPEX)
Can be based on academics, athletics, extracurricular activities, major of choice, and much much more
How do I get a scholarship?
Apply! Many scholarships go unclaimed every year - your chances of getting a scholarship are MUCH better than you think
Remember, you DO NOT have to be the top student to be selected for a scholarship
You should NEVER pay to get a scholarship! When in doubt, ask you counselor about any offers that you have received.
