The Academy of Cinema and Television Arts at El Diamante High School (formerly known as the Media Arts Academy) provides a platform for all students to find and express their voice through the art of filmmaking and visual storytelling, equipping them to become creative individuals and leaders for the variety of career paths within the film industry.

COMMON ACRONYMS & WHAT THEY MEAN
C.T.E. - Career Technical Education. This means that our academy teaches towards very specific and technical industry standard skills.
A.M.E. - Arts, Media, and Entertainment. This is our C.T.E pathway. This is where we get our CTE standards that we teach to in class.
L.L. - Linked Learning. This is what happens when two classes that a student is taking has one (or more) common projects. The CTVA program is considered silver status because we have 4 years of linked classes.
F.B.L.A. - Future Business Leaders of America. This is the C.T.S.O that the CTVA Academy participates in. It allows us to prove our leadership through competitive events at the sectional and state level.
C.T.S.O. - Career and Technical Student Organizations. These are organizations for C.T.E. students to engage in leadership activities.
M.A.A. - Media Arts Academy. Until 2022, The Academy of Cinema and Television arts was knows as the Media Arts Academy.
