We recommend using 9-inch yellow cones. They should be available in your local sports shop or online. eg on Amazon Australia:
https://www.amazon.com.au/23cm-12-Cones-Yellow-Playscene0153/dp/B01FDVWZI0/ref=sr_1_5?crid=37VK2TZ7KH4ZJ&keywords=9+inch+yellow+cones&qid=1694387219&sprefix=9+inch+yellowcones%2Caps%2C766&sr=8-5
We recommend using a good stable tripod with phone-holding capability. We have found the following tripod from Amazon (in Australia) quite good.

Motion-IQ allows giving performance positions in group and cohort. The ‘group’ is the team or group you lead. For example, the soccer team you work with, or the “4pm 14 year old soccer group” at your private facility. This category is so that you can compare all the athletes in the group with each other. THIS IS AN OPEN FIELD and any text value can be provided. They must be the same value for a group.
The ‘cohort’ is a broad category, which describes the sex, age, and sport of the athlete you are working with. There is a drop-down menu of 15 categories per sex and a default 'other' category. If your category is not present, simply select ‘other’.

Possible causes are:
1) You did not tag an athlete and click 'Submit AI' icon
2) Incorrect set-up - refer to set-up guide [insert link]:
Incorrect size cones
All 5 cones are not visible in video recording
Camera not stable or positioned correctly on tripod
Incorrect camera settings (must be 4K/60 frames per secone)
Poor lighting, creating motion blur
Back foot not visible in accelleration phase
More than 5 cones detected in the scene
Multiple running at the same time
Athlete not visible throughout complete run (eg a person moving between athlete and camera)
Camera positioned too far from cones (max 1m space outside of the cones)
The Motion-IQ Results include two main parts:
Videos with augmented reality overlays and summary metrics
Motion-IQ Analysis Report
Once you've uploaded and set your videos, expect your report in about 24 hours, featuring:
A downloadable PDF with data, comparison charts, and kinograms.
Eight augmented reality videos.
Raw data (step by step metrics) in excel format
These outputs will be available in your Motion-IQ account on the VueMotion platform.
The Motion-IQ beta report has four key objectives:
Deliver precise biomechanical data on athletes' sprints to enhance both their health and performance.
Collect data from a diverse range of athletes globally, aiming to refine our understanding of running technique and pinpoint critical factors.
Seek coach feedback on Motion-IQ, allowing us to refine and enhance the beta version.
Equip coaches with insights to apply their knowledge of sprinting techniques more effectively.
