Who has access to the Parent Portal?

• We started with ONE parent account per household. However, every 'Guardian' may have an account.

When will schedules and homerooms be visible?

• We will open schedules and homerooms on Monday, Ausgut 20th at 3pm

Must I fill out these forms?

• The state and federal government require certain permissions on an annual basis. In Genesis, you will not be able to view any other information until these forms are complete.

Genesis won't let me view any information because I have a fine?

• For Glen Meadow and the High School, if you have an outstanding fee or fine, you will not be able to view certain parent portal screens. To discuss or pay your fees/fines, please contact your school's office.

Will my student have their own account?

• Yes. On Monday, August 20th the student accounts will be generated. Students will have access to view their schedules and gradebook online (but only their own schedule and gradebook - not siblings' info).

Why the switch to Genesis - wasn't Power School fine?

• Over 300 schools in New Jersey use Genesis. We believe all stakeholders including parents will have a better experience with Genesis as our student information system (SIS).
