Windham's Community Forum process will be a 2-month series of public meetings that include:

Community Forum Day - Tues. June 17, from 4:30 - 8:30 PM

On Community Forum Day, community members come together to discuss assets, challenges, and ideas for their future. Discussion topics will include Living Together & Building Connections, and Land, Growth, and Sustainability; these topics were chosen in advance at a Planning Meeting by local leaders. A listening team of federal, state, business, nonprofit and philanthropic leaders join the forums and dinner.

This event includes a FREE community dinner, and childcare during the forums. Need a ride? Call Neighborhood Connections at 802-824-4343, option 1 by June 15th. If you're driving, please carpool and park at the Windham Town Offices and take a FREE shuttle to the Meeting House. Community Meeting Day - Wed. July 24,  from 4:30 - 9:00 PM

On Community Meeting Day, community members come together to review, discuss, and vote to prioritize ideas for action shared in the first forums. Through dot-voting, participants whittle down a list of action ideas to a few priorities and then sign up to join local task forces that moves those priorities forward. 

For the final step in the process, new task force groups build action plans, set the scope of their work, and meet with a visiting team of resource providers and experts to identify available resources and funding opportunities. From here forward, all action is focused at the local task force level. You can sign up to join a Task Force, or choose one to join at the meeting!
