Hearing from community members is the key to building a strong list of ideas for the future that will best support Roxbury's progress. Community members have the opportunity to share their ideas in the following ways:
At the Kick-Off event on February 18 during four forums on topics chosen by a planning committee of community representatives. Those topics are Community Connection & Communications; Town Pride & Identity; Community Spaces: Buildings & Green Spaces; and Seniors, Families, & Youth.
Through a survey available through March 15th both online here and on paper (at the Town Clerk's Office, Roxbury Free Library, and Northfield Library).
Through a youth forum with students at the Montpelier Middle School.
When they are available, we post the compiled notes from focus forums, the action ideas for prioritization, and the top priorities chosen at the 2nd meeting. Once priorities are chosen, community members can sign up to join a task force to help advance work on those priorities.
